A Nurturing Training in a Beautiful Environment.
Many counsellors and psychotherapists carry long term exhaustion resulting from the dedicated care of others. I have taken this into account when designing the training (making it spacious and encouraging responsiveness to process) and when looking for a venue which, whilst being professional, would also provide some nurture and sustenance for the weary soul! So I was delighted when I came across the ‘West Wing’, a Georgian Cotswold Manor House less than a mile from Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Owner David Frost extends a warm welcome to his comfortable home and as
caterer par excellence, provides a delicious lunch. The food is
homemade with great love and care (lunch, and drinks and snacks in the
breaks, are all included as part of the training fee).
The group room is well proportioned and comfortable with large windows
making for a light, spacious environment. There are also three
‘break-out’ rooms for smaller group work (eg. Skills
practice).
The manor is set back from the road in its own grounds and has views up to Minchinhampton Common.
